Location and location ideas

We really wanted the location of the interrogation scene to be the iconic location of the film - therefore we wanted to make it look as realistic and as similar to stereotypical interrogation scenes seen in thrillers. Therefore the ideal location was the drama room at our school as it was secluded and had extra lighting in which we could use to highlight James' character.

As well as this we wanted a secluded car park for the mise en scene of a scene in which the victim (James) gets taken to the place of interrogation, therefore we found an ideal location at Milford cricket club, as it was relatively small yet had an ambience of mystery and danger therefore it was ideal for our film.

For the flashback scenes we aimed to create a homely sense in which James gets kidnapped - creating a fear of not being safe in his own home. Therefore James voluntarily allowed us to use his own home.
